AlbumViz is a creative visualization tool that maps audio frequencies to colors in real time. Originally built as an exploratory art-meets-science project, the tool aims to make music visible using a physics-inspired approach to sound and light.
The frequency-to-color conversion is based on a logarithmic function, mimicking how both sound and light are perceived by humans. The goal is to provide a beautiful, interactive way of experiencing music — and offer new insight for musicians, educators, and fans alike.
AlbumViz was built by Cameron Noval. Contributions, suggestions, and collaborations are welcome on GitHub.
